Our flagship product, the Booster Bath®, is a portable elevated pet bath unlike anything available in the market today.  Our bath has been recommended by veterinarians, groomers, and publications worldwide and has allowed over 60,000 people 360 degree bathing access to their animals.                                                                                                                                                           Read more about the Booster Bath here

We also manufacture a product called the Tropic Shower® This product allows you to hook up to warm water via your washer's water connections and a regular garden hose.  Your dog deserves warm water too!

booster bath success story

Paws For Thought strives to make pet bathing simple, quick, and fun and is aware that some of our clients operate kennels and dog washing facilities.  We commend these people who are working to make dogs everywhere happier and healthier by helping to maintain dog hygiene.  One of our clients, Vintage Kennel Club located in Sonoma, California recently wrote to us about their dog bathing experience with their Booster Bath bathing system.  Brain Ness, owner and president of the Kennel Club states, "
My staff and I have been using our Booster Bath for seven years and have been pleased with the quality of the product.  It has withstood an average of eight to ten baths a day and has become an invaluable component of our grooming program. The hands-free system allows us to safely and easily control the dogs we are bathing and saves our backs the stress of bending."  This is yet another account of how much bathing activity the Booster Bath's portable, lightweight bathing system can withstand.  Paws For Thought is so confident of our bath's durability, that we have extended our 3 year limited warrantee to five years.

In regard to upgrading his Kennel's facilities, Ness goes on to say, "While contemplating a grooming facilities update for our kennel, I asked my staff their thoughts about upgrading to a stainless steel bathing tub.  They were content with the quality of the Booster Bath and felt that it would be a waste of money to purchase a different brand of bathtub.  In fact, we have been so satisfied with the performance of your product that we are investing in our second Booster Bath. Thank you for providing a great product!"  While the Booster Bath does offer a more affordable option to expensive stainless steel pet grooming systems, it also provides aesthetic value that you just cannot get from cold stainless steel.

Paws for thought wants to thank Brian Ness and his staff for their wonderful story and for helping to maintain pet cleanliness.  Keep up the good work!

summer's here!

The summer sun stays in the sky a little longer than it usually would in other seasons.  This could be a great opportunity for you and your dog to do some serious bonding by taking evening walks with each other.  This is a great way to exercise yourself and your dog.

Other fun things you might consider this season, are taking your dog to a dog beach where they can run through the water and sand or a local park with shady trees to relax under.  Sometimes it can be a challenge to find dog friendly places to take your animal, but as the summer heats up, leaving your dog at home could be a health risk if you don't air condition your house while you are away.

Try planning your family activities around dog friendly venues.  A great resource to help you find the perfect place to spend time with both your family and your pet can be found at http://www.dogfriendly.com/ There you can find dog travel and city guides, dog beaches and parks, and dog friendly restaurants and events.

And remember, wherever you take your pooch this summer, make sure that after the fun, you clean up your pup with the Booster Bath bathing system - because a clean dog is a happy and healthy dog!

Booster Bath Hit the International Market

Paws For Thought participated recently in the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, Nevada and InterZoo 2008 in Nuremberg Germany.  We recognize that there is a growing need to find easy bathing solutions for animals and also understand that making our products more accessible to the public via retail storefronts is an added convenience to our customers.  At both shows, we featured our international container program.  Currently we have one distributor, Hund-1 DA located in Norway that receives and distributes our product across Norway, Germany, Sweden, Scandinavia, Denmark, and Hungary.  Hund-1 DA also sponsors Kennel Clubs and dog shows aboard and offers the winner of shows a complimentary Booster Bath.  We'd like to thank Hund-1 DA for their help in distributing our product worldwide.

Buddy’s Odyssey

When Buddy the Bichon Frise was dognapped by a stranger on a bicycle in Ventura, CA last year, owner Mark Hench didn’t know if they’d ever see each other again.  Three months later, when illness forced Mark to move to Fort Collins, TX, it seemed even less likely.

But amazingly enough, a few months after that Mark received a call from an animal control officer in Fort Worth.  To his shock, Buddy had been found in Texas!  It is unknown how Buddy made the trip of nearly 1500 miles.

Rescue Angels on Wheels, a volunteer organization of rescuers who transport animals, stepped in to facilitate the reunion and credit Buddy’s microchip with bringing the ecstatic dog and owner back together.

“That microchip saved Buddy’s life,” said Gloria Pollock, a volunteer.

Wheatgrass Isn't Just For Humans!

Those who believe in the health properties of wheatgrass claim that regular ingestion of its juices can:

  • improve the digestive system

  • prevent cancer, diabetes, and heart disease

  • cure constipation

  • detoxify heavy metals from the bloodstream

  • cleanse the liver

  • prevent hair loss

  • help make menopause more manageable

  • promote general wellbeing

So why wouldn’t wheatgrass have the same positive health benefits for dogs?  Tom Stem, a longtime breeder of Shetland sheep dogs and Irish Wolfhounds, is a tremendous supporter of providing wheatgrass as part of a healthy dog’s diet.  Tom says that wheatgrass has increased the longevity and fertility of his dogs, improved skin conditions, and even reduced cancer symptoms!

Wheatgrass can be sprouted and juiced in the home, or in many areas, is available in pallets for home delivery.  More information and additional facts, as well as details about the use of wheatgrass therapy for dogs, can be found at http://www.sproutman.com.
